- What is Stride?
- Stride is a planned subscription-based ride service for daily commuters in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Members pay a fixed monthly rate for scheduled rides. There is no surge pricing and no per-trip booking required.
- How much does Stride cost?
- Shared ride pricing ranges from $399 to $499 per month depending on your route distance. Routes up to 2.5 km are $399/month, up to 5 km are $449/month, and up to 7 km are $499/month. Private rides are $475 to $575 per month. Final pricing is confirmed when you submit your route.
- Where does Stride operate?
- Stride currently operates exclusively in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. The service is designed specifically for local daily commuters.
- What is the difference between a shared ride and a private ride?
- A shared ride lets you commute with other riders heading the same direction, reducing the monthly cost (typically $399–$499/month). A private ride gives you your own scheduled vehicle with no other passengers — same driver, same time every day ($475–$575/month).
- Is Stride available to book right now?
- Stride is currently in pre-launch and collecting signups. You can join the waitlist today and we will contact you with your pricing and launch details.
- How do I sign up as a driver for Stride?
- Visit the Drive with Stride page at getstride.ca/signup/driver and submit your details. A Class 4 Alberta driver's licence is the minimum requirement for passenger transport.
